Twelve Things To Remember

  1. The Value of Time - Boy and who can't relate to that! It would certainly be different from person to person, all depending on ones purpose of the journey, regardless if it's work related or leisure.
  2. The Success of Perseverance -  Well, to me that would depend on your commitment, hard work, patience, and endurance, despite all the difficulties and setbacks you may have along the way.
  3. The Pleasure of Working - Oh ABSOLUTELY! NO FUSS THERE! Where would I be without a job. Don't even want to go there, and I feel for those who struggle with finding work.
  4. The Dignity of Simplicity - I say just keep it real, no matter what area in life your working on.
  5. The Worth of Character - Just make good choices in life. Keep good virtues, such as integrity, courage, fortitude, honesty and loyalty which all make for good character traits.
  6. The Power of Kindness - Keep a pleasant disposition and concern for others, it can benefit both parties.
  7. The Influence of Example - Since all of our emotions, opinions, and behaviors are affected by others, let's keep that in the forefront of our minds when we react to all situations confronted.
  8. The Obligation of Duty - That could be a very lengthy discussion, so I'll leave you all to ponder this one. Or feel free to comment your thoughts.
  9. The Wisdom of Economy - Yeah, this too I'll give you free rein to discuss or leave comments.
  10. The Virtue of Patience - See I'm running out of steam.  lol What does that say about my patience. Don't answer that. Could you define patience if you were asked? Doesn't it have to do with Self-control, Humility, and Generosity?
  11. The Improvement of Talent - I think we all have room to improve on all things that define us in all areas of our life.
  12. The Joy of Originating - Continue to create and keep the mind fresh and alive.
So, there you have it. My two cents worth on the  12 things we should always remember!
The list itself came from -Marshall Field

  1. Number three particularly stands out to me. I happen to enjoy my work so much; I don't know where I'd be without it. Great post, happy fourth!
